Chief Executive Officer
Adrian Appo, OAM
A Gureng Gureng man, Adrian is a graduate of the Fairley Leadership’s Community Leadership Program and the Williamson Community Leadership Program. He has also studied at the Harvard Business School in the United States and holds a Bachelor of Teaching. Adrian served with distinction in the Royal Australian Air Force as an electrician specialising in Telecommunications Technology. After leaving the RAAF, he taught for several years before moving into the professional recruitment industry where he worked as a consultant with both the public and private sectors. A former Chair of the Ganbina Board, he became Ganbina’s first CEO in 2004. Adrian was awarded an OAM in 2011 for service to indigenous youth through career planning, employment and training programs.

Kevin is a Yorta Yorta man who has owned and run a successful landscaping business for over 20 years. He is currently the Reserves Team Coach at Rumbalara Football & Netball Club which enables him to continue his extensive contacts with the Aboriginal youth of the region.
Deputy Chair: Sue Williams
Joined 2006
Sue is a Koorie Transition Officer, Hume region with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. She is a former Manager of Family Services with the Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative. A Wiradjuri woman, Sue is married to renowned local Yorta Yorta Aboriginal artist Dennis Baksh.
Treasurer: Julie Trevaskis

Julie is the former owner of a successful local recruitment company. She now specialises as a professional consultant in financial accounting and management. She is widely respected in the local area as a prominent member of the Shepparton business community and has extensive involvement with a wide range of community and youth associations.

Public Officer & Secretary: Shane O'Brien
Joined 2005
Shane is a former Executive Officer of the North East Victoria Area Consultative Committee and earlier in his career, he spent 23 years with the Federal Government's former Commonwealth Employment Service in various management positions across Victoria. He is a graduate of Fairley Leadership's Community Leadership Program.
Member: Geoff West
Joined 2012
Geoff was one of the first people to graduate from Ganbina’s Jobs4U2 program over a decade ago. He then went on to work with Ganbina as a staff member for two years, first as a one on one Mentor to youth enrolled on our programs; and later as a Project Officer. Today, he works as a senior manager in a major production facility in regional Victoria.

Justin is the Chair of National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO); and the Director of the Academy
of Sport, Health and Education in partnership with the University of Melbourne. He is a former Chair and CEO of the Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative. A Gureng Gureng man, Justin is a graduate of Fairley Leadership's Community Leadership Program.
Member: Lynne Jensen

A corporate and commercial lawyer, Lynne is the Group General Counsel of the Melbourne based construction and development company Grocon and is a former partner of the national law firm, Allens Arthur Robinson. Lynne also helps her husband to operate their boutique winery, Bress. She is the Deputy Chair of the Board of Save the Children Australia.
